Missouri Grown celebrates fifth year with holiday gift box launch

Nov 05, 2024

The Missouri Grown program will celebrate its fifth year of offering holiday gift boxes, following four successful seasons. Each gift box features a selection of unique food and home products sourced from small agribusinesses throughout Missouri.

North Missouri is well-represented in this year’s holiday gift boxes. The offerings include a beer bread mix from Mama Jane’s Creations in Brookfield, The Everything Sauce from 1820 Sauce in Keytesville, strawberry jam from Jared’s Jams in Edina, and cold-pressed sunflower oil from Show Me H-H Farms in Hannibal.

Chris Chinn, Director of Agriculture, noted that the products chosen for the Missouri holiday gift boxes highlight the wide range of Missouri’s agricultural diversity.

Buyers can send a gift box directly to family and friends through the Missouri Grown purchasing platform on the Missouri Grown USA website. Each box is priced at $50, with additional shipping costs. For those interested in purchasing 10 or more boxes, direct coordination with the Missouri Grown team is advised for shipment arrangements.
